Guillermo Beltrán
I began to study oboe at the Conservatory of Zaragoza (Spain). I finished my bachelor studies in the Conservatory of the same city, and after I decided to study early music. A while continuing my training with various teachers of historic oboe – Renate Hildebrand, Josep Domenech and Albert Romaguera – I was curious to build oboes.
The technique of making wind instruments learned in Gaitería Tremol in Zaragoza; in France, the builder Marc Ecochard led me to apply all this knowledge to historical oboes. I have also learned a lot from the experience of my father as a good artisan.
