[:es]El Padre Anselm Viola (1738 – 1798) compuso lo que podríamos calificar como los primeros estudios pedagógicos para fagot, incluso anteriores a los que aparecen en el famoso método de Ozi publicado por primera vez en 1787 y ampliado en el periodo 1800-1803. En ellos podemos observar las más remotas posibilidades y exigencias técnicas del fagot clásico de la segunda mitad del s. XVIII. Los 18 estudios, que aún hoy día entrañan cierta dificultad para ejecutarse con el fagot moderno, también son un reflejo del estilo musical instrumental predominante en el Monasterio de Montserrat.
